Halloween is just around the corner, and many families have begun decorating for the evening of costumes and candy collection. If you’re looking for something fun to do with your little one’s this weekend, why not help create some festive Glass-O-Lanterns!

This little project, is simple, easy, and cheap! Not to mention fun and creative! 🎨

What you’ll need:

• Mason Jar

• Orange tissue paper

• ModPodge / White Glue

• Black construction paper

• Sponge brush

Instructions:

1. Cut the tissue paper into squares and glue it on to the mason jar with ModPodge or white glue.

2. Let the base layer dry a bit

3. Add a light layer of glue on top of your base layer and then add your eyes, mouth, nose, or other design!

4. When completely dry and the moon comes out, pop in a tea light (or *flameless candle) and watch it glow!
