Cold and flu season is just around the corner, but there’s no reason to let it knock you down. Here's some tips to keep the whole family healthy (for as long as you possibly can!)

1. Immunize

The flu vaccine is your first line of defence. Many schools and pharmacies offer them at low or no cost.

2. Hand Hygiene

Teaching good hand hygiene to your kids is crucial. Make it fun by singing a song while they wash their hands.

3. Stock the Medicine Cabinet

Prepare for the inevitable sniffles and sneezes by keeping a well-stocked medicine cabinet. Ensure you have extra tissues! You’re gonna need em!

4. Know When to See a Doctor

If symptoms last more than a few days or worsen, it may be time to consult a healthcare provider.

5. Keep Active

Don’t use the colder weather as an excuse to hibernate. Regular exercise can boost the immune system.

A proactive approach is better than a reactive one when it comes to your family’s health.
